Project Overview
A ceremonial presentation axe and its bespoke display box, designed as a formal award piece for Civil Defence.
An award is handled up close, so the detail that matters is at the millimetre scale – the profile of the head, the grain of the handle, the way the piece sits in its recess.
What the Design Covered
- Brass ceremonial axe head with engraved detailing
- Hardwood handle with shaped grip
- Bespoke presentation box with fitted recess
- Two case finishes – deep navy and tan leather
- Certificate plate position within the case
- Close-range renders for material and finish approval
Outcome
Presented in two case finishes so the client could choose the material direction before any sample was produced.
